Greeting cards:
Heritage Makers has always been a pioneer in high-quality on-demand publishing. We are always looking for ways to improve our product in both quality and appearance. Some customers have noticed that storybooks stitched with thread can cause individual pages to appear "perforated" and therefore to more easily rip out when pulled.
Heritage Makers continues to hand-craft its storybooks with linen-reinforced end sheets and acid-, lignin-, and chlorine-free paper. Now, all its books will be bound with a wire stitch as well to increase individual page strength and improve overall binding appearance.

New International Fonts
Now in Studio, you can use international fonts. All current HM fonts will support most Latin international characters. Supported languages include Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, and German.
To insert a special character, use Alt + number for PC users and Opt + number for Mac users. Use the character map on your computer to learn the number for characters you want to insert. And watch for the upcoming help article to learn more about inserting special characters.
There are a couple of things to keep in mind with this new enhancement. A few characters may not be available or may look different from what you expect in some fonts. All characters in all fonts will print the same way they appear in the editor, so if you are unsure about how a character will appear, just type it in to a text box to see how it will look.
Also, the first time you log in to Studio, you will be asked to allow HM to store an unlimited amount of data on your machine. This will only happen the first time you log in to Studio and will actually make your Studio load faster. You’ll be amazed at the speed you’ll see with each additional log in.
